Dues are a way to pledge your commitment to the organization while helping to support and offset some of the costs of programing. Dues for the 2024-2025 school year will be used to help supplement all school activities.
All members are strongly encouraged to pay dues. While we cannot force anyone to pay their dues we strongly ask you to consider the implication it has on the children and their experiences while at school. Not paying dues will still allow you to be a member of the PTG but not a member in good standing.
A member in good standing is an individual who has joined the PTG, paid their dues and are working towards completing their 10 hours of volunteer service. Members in good standing are granted the rights to vote for board members and to hold a position on the PTG board.
To show personal investment in the school community, to be an example of sharing your talents and gifts and that you are passionate about making MMA a better community than what it started.
Volunteering doesn't fit into a simple box. It can look many different ways! Some examples are: Preparing flyers for events, photocopying, working with kids in the classroom, making decorations, helping decorate the school, participating fundraising events or helping organize/distribute fundraising goods, purchasing goods or supplies for events, organizing an event or holiday celebration and much more! Not everything happens at school during the school day! There are always opportunities to volunteer!
